Receptionist

We are currently seeking a Receptionist.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

Greet and assist residents, families, and visitors in a warm, professional manner.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or staff.

Manage the front desk and reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and inviting.

Provide information to visitors and callers regarding the facility, policies, and services offered.

Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with security and safety protocols.

Schedule and coordinate appointments for residents, staff, and visitors as needed.

Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.

Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and other deliveries.

Monitor and maintain supplies for the reception area.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and support.

Handle emergency situations promptly by contacting the appropriate personnel or emergency services.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in office administration preferred

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a front desk role, ideally in a health care setting

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers)

Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Professional appearance and demeanor

Compassionate, customer-service-oriented approach with sensitivity to residents and families

Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
