Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

Weld repair and manufacture of turbine generator components, minaly TIG welding.

Disassembly and assembly of turbine / generator components.

Part / component inspections.

Prep and blend parts. Including but not limited to media blasting.

Work with job site managers.

Operate forklifts and cranes.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Support other areas of the shop as needed.

Position Requirements :

Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.

Familiarity with Power Generation Industry preferred.

Availablity for significant mandatory overtime druring peak periods.

Knowledge of precision measurement equipment.

Ability to read and

interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

Ability to perform welding tasks on delicate components with precision and minimal distortion.

Ability to set up and operate welding equipment.

Mechanical skills.

Communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to foresee changes relevant to area of responsibility.

Ability to organize work assignments to ensure efficient operations within the area.

Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective.

Good organizational skills.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and in environments that require frequent bending, reaching and lifting.

Ability to follow safety guidelines set by customer and ARMS.

OSHA 10 certification, preferred.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Ability to pass drug test and background check.

You should be proficient in :

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Field Measurements
• Welding Setups for Production
• Forklift Licensed
• Deburring Experience
• High School / GED
• Excellent Communication Skills

Salary info : $24 - $28 / hr
