Job Details :

• Varied work schedule with weekend and holiday requirements
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills for patient care
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment data and patient needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in a timely and accurate manner
• Participate in patient and family education and evaluate effectiveness of teaching
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, and using proper body mechanics for patient transfers
