We are looking for a Payroll Specialilst & HR Coordinator with experience in administering payroll for multiple states to join our on-site team in Carol Stream, IL, Monday - Friday.
Pay Range : $28.85 - $33.65 per hour
Factors such as, but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact pay for this position.

Job Description :
As a Payroll Specialist & HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in both payroll processing (90%) and day-to-day HR operations (10%). This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities :
Payroll Administration
Daily review and correction of timecards (CX, Engineering, Admin)Collaborate with managers to ensure timely payroll submissionProcess Payroll Weekly (100 employees) / Biweekly for 110+ employeesEnsure accurate processing of payroll deductions (taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, etc.)Prepare internal reports for payroll cost analysisPrepare workers compensation reports by marketMaintain payroll-related documentation and recordsAssist with payroll audits and year-end reportingHR Coordination
Assist in benefit enrollments, changes, and terminationsRespond to employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and HR policiesCoordinate onboarding and enter new hires into ADPMaintain employee files, including collection and organization of new hire paperworkComplete offboarding processes for departing employeesCoordinator with HR team for employees currently on FMLA and LOA for timecard and payroll tracking purposes.Assist with employee engagement initiativesEnforce company culture, values, and policiesMaintain a high level of confidentialityPerform other HR and payroll-related duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications :
3+ years of experience processing company payroll (ADP preferred)Experience with multi-state payroll and setting up new accounts for state taxes (SUI / SUTA) is preferredExperience compiling census data and preparing 5500 and 401K reports is a plusBilingual is a plusMicrosoft Excel skills (large data sets)Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and WordDetail-oriented and self-motivatedExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong problem-solving and collaboration skillsAbility to exercise independent judgment and prioritize workloadComfortable interacting with internal and external contacts at all levelsAdditional Information :
