Description of Work
IT professional provides comprehensive first and second level support and assistance with all computer technologies, multi-media, on-line and instructional activities. Provides faculty, student and classroom support for educational technology and educational software use in classrooms. Provides technical support for the clinical skills center and technologies.
Hybrid (part-time working on site, part-time working off-site). Minimum Required Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent in Multimedia or Computer Science related field. Three years of extensive computer use of presentation software and educational content development. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Web conferencing, Video conferencing. Ability to work independently as well as in collaborative manner with diverse individuals. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing environment and needs.
(Will consider five years related education/experience). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education Technology, Multimedia Technology or Computer Science related field. Experience with scheduling coordination and providing technical support in education/academic environment, graphics/video editing software, Blackboard, Vidyo, and AdobeConnect. Knowledge of computer operating systems, program experience, video camera and video editing software, and streaming media production. Ability to work in consultation regarding online instructional materials. Ability to learn new procedures and operation of technology.
