We are seeking a Caregivers to join our team! You will assist in the daily care of elderly or disabled individuals.

Position Summary :

The Caregiver aids with assistance for older adults needing help with daily tasks from physical or cognitive limitations. Duties may vary depending on the needs of the client being served.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) : Bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, eating.
• Personal Care Assistance : Helping with hygiene, skin care, brushing teeth, other personal care needs.
• Assistance with mobility : Transferring from bed to wheelchair or walker, provide stand-by assistance when client is ambulating, always ensuring safety at home or during community-based outings.
• Medication Reminders : Encourage the client to take medications on time as prescribed.
• Meal Preparation : Planning and preparing nutritious meals and promoting hydration.
• Light Housekeeping : Tasks may include dishes, laundry, taking out trash / recycling, watering plants, always maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Companionship : Providing conversation and offering activities for ongoing engagement and overall health support.
• Documentation : Complete required notes for each shift, reporting any changes in condition, frequency of toileting, amount of meals consumed, any other information to share with the client’s care team.
