Job Title : Shot Peen - Masker & Sander
Employee Type : Full Time, Hourly
Shifts Available :
- 1st Shift Hours : Monday - Friday; 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm
- 2nd Shift Hours : Monday - Friday; 2 : 00pm - 10 : 30pm
Pay Rate : $16.00-19.00 / hr DOE (Shift Differential pay for 2nd)
Reports to : Processing Manager

Job Duties
Racking, un-racking, and moving materialsSand and mask / unmask parts as neededAssist with preparation of parts prior to & after shot peen formingWill learn shot peen forming skills on the jobHelp other plant workers by performing general labor dutiesKeep work areas cleanDependable, team-oriented, good communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredFollow safety guidelines and wear proper PPE at all timesRequirements :
Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing environment preferredMust have prior experience using hand tools such as sanding equipmentMust be self-motivated and produce quality workMust have excellent attendance record & reliable transportationOpen to learning a new skill; manual shot peen formingDependable, team-oriented, and good communication skillsFollow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as requiredAny additional processing work assigned by manager.Working Conditions :
Some overtime may be necessaryThe essential duties job may require the ability to stoop; to reach; to stand, and to walk for extended periods of time; to push and / or pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds; to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; to use finger dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment and hand strength to grasp files and other objects; to perceive the attributes of objects by touch; to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff and others in the office. Frequently being on foot, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climb stairs and kneeling and / or crouch to retrieve items. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small power tools and other equipment. Writing to complete reports and service requests. Occasionally Lifting and carrying (with assistance) items weighing 75-150 lbs. Must be able to wear safety PPE equipment, as required.
