NA-Medication Aide - FT - 2nd Shift

Up To $2,000 Sign On Bonus

• Under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing and directly by licensed nursing staff, according to established policies and procedures, assists residents with the activities of daily living providing basic nursing care to assigned residents. In addition, will administer and accurately record the medication administration of medications for residents as prescribed by the physician. Work is of a highly confidential nature. Performs other work of the department as required.

Required Education / License : High School Diploma or equivalent North Carolina Nurse Assistant I certification with no report of abuse or neglect Listed on the N.C. Medication Aide Registry. BLS Certification required and provided

Minimum Work Experience : Six (6) months experience in a patient care setting preferred.

Required Skills : Ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the needs of adolescent, adult and geriatric residents. Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and oral Ability to think critically and adapt in stressful situations.
