POSTION SUMMARY :
The Warehouse role at E&R Industrial performs warehouse duties and functions to support inventory integrity, order processing – picking, packing, staging, and shipping in accordance to standard operating procedures and safe work practices, as well as general housekeeping to provide a safe and clean work environment.
Under the direction, specific duties include :
- Valid driver’s license
- Use CribMaster software and vending equipment to process on-site deployment of material at the customer
- Unload trailers using material handling equipment
Including 55 gal drums
Pull orders dailyCheck-in and receive material dailyPut-away stock material in appropriate locations dailyProcess shipments for delivery via UPS, FedEx, LTLComply with DOT regulations regarding the handling and shipping of materialPack and stage merchandise and complete necessary documentsDeliver material to customer dailyMaintain inventory accuracy using computerized equipment and other inventory maintenance reportsWork independentlyPREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
High School Diploma or equivalent1 or more years’ experience in related fieldExperience operating power equipment (fork truck, pallet jack, drum hand truck)Experience operating RF scanner and inventory management softwareExperience operating computer based vending equipmentSKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Attention to detail and ability to multi-taskAble to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervisionAble to operate powered industrial equipmentAble to operate computerized warehouse management equipmentAble to lift 75 lbs.Able to handle 55 gal drums with material handling equipmentAble to drive delivery van and box truck (no CDL required)WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Work conditions are typical of a typical Distribution CenterAbility to lift 25 to 75 lbs. and / or occasionally work in difficult positionsAbility to handle 55 gal drums with material handling equipment
