Job Description:

Provides field support, on-site support, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting efforts to keep systems operational.

The work will be to assist the ISEA in DDG modification and INCO support involving the AN/USQ-82(V) FODMS and GEDMS systems in CONUS, and assist with FMS ship checks/modifications/INCO in Australia, Japan, and Korea. Ideal candidate would be a USN IT/IC off a DDG that worked on the AN/USQ-82(V) system and is willing to travel internationally about 25% to 50% of the time. Length of travel for FMS support ranges from 10 days (common) to 45 days (uncommon). Preferred locations are San Diego and Norfolk (locations of GEDMS ISEA west and east coast activities).

Requirements:

High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate and four (4) years’ experience in the operation, maintenance and testing of U.S. Navy interior communications systems, networks and/or network user systems.
