Company located in Tulsa just off Highway 244. Schedule offered is day shift 7am-3 : 30pm.
Must have 5 years experience with small or large horsepower gaseous and diesel fueled engines.
Requirements :
- Ability to diagnose and correct mechanical / electrical problems identified during testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues identified during build-up
- Have knowledge of AC and DC power and wiring schematics
- Assemble / disassemble internal combustion engines according to standard procedures
- Use mechanics hand tools and power hoist
- Aligns engine parts, such as camshaft and crankshaft gears, and sets timing and clearances between fixed and moving parts.
- Examines parts or observes movement of completed assemblies to detect malfunction, and discards or replaces defective parts or assemblies according to assembly instructions
Qualification / Requirements :
Must have a high school diploma or GED5 years or more experience with small or large horsepower gaseous and diesel fueled engines.Mechanical or wiring knowledge requiredAbility to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualAbility to interpret technical instructions in diagram formOrganizational skills (multi-tasking ability)Experienced using hand-toolsBusiness maturity, a positive attitude and a professional demeanorMust be dependable and conscientiousKnowledge of diesel or natural gas industrial engines preferredPrevious internal combustion engine mechanic experienceDesire a high degree of mechanical aptitudeVocational or high school training in automotive mechanics or certificationMust know how to use mechanic hand tools and power hoistMust know how to read precision measuring instruments, read instruction books and manuals and ability to comprehend assembly drawings
