Assistant Nurse Manager - Patient Care Leader

Positions details :

Location : Bartow Regional Medical Center Medical / Surgical ICU Bartow, Florida
Status : Full Time
Shift : Days - Variable
No weekend requirement
On Call : No
Always in person

Requirements :

RN (Registered Nurse) License

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing OR Higher

2-years' RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting

BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Preferred experience - 1 year of Nursing Leadership

Preferred certification - CCRN

The Assistant Nurse Manager & Patient Care Leader ICU responsibilities and skills :

Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills

Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issue

Ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process

Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information

Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
