The Role :
We are encouraging applications for anAerospace Engineer IIto join our team! TheAerospace Engineer IIwill perform various analyses spanning the Space Situational Awareness (SSA) domain, including : orbit determination, collision avoidance and maneuver planning. The engineer will design, develop, and test mathematically intensive software applications proprietary to SpaceNav. This position will perform astrodynamics research and develop simulations for SSA-related topics including state estimation, stochastic processes, error propagation, and collision probability analysis. This role will provide operational maneuver planning and mission operation support to NASA, NOAA, and USGS, as well as technical support to the internal SpaceNav team.
