Trades BOROUGH OF SCHUYLKILL HAVEN ELECTRIC LINEMAN POSITION AVAILABLE The Borough of Schuylkill Haven is accepting applications for the following positions : Journeyman Electric Lineman : Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of a four-year approved apprenticeship, journeyman accreditation, and a valid Pennsylvania CDL. Apprentice Electric Lineman : This is a trainee position. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and either technical / trade school electrical education or experience working with an electrical contractor. Schuylkill Haven Borough owns and operates its own electric system, including substations, poles, distribution lines, transformers, and secondary services. Applicants should have, or be willing to obtain, knowledge of electric system operations. All candidates must pass a complete background investigation, including reference checks.
