Accounting manager

Salary: Based on experiense

A well-established transportation company is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager,

motivated, committed, energetic team player who would like to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operation of accounting department
• Track daily cash activity , records daily cash receipts and other journal entries according to GAAP
• Review and oversee AP and AR
• Prepare and review properly documents
• Process intercompany transactions
• Prepare monthly bank statement reconciliations
• Processing and Ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
• Run weekly reports for higher management
• Debt Schedule
• Accounting Department activities including but not limited to month and close, AP process, company expenses, AR process , financial statements preparation , G-L maintenance and periodic projects .

Requirements:

• An Associate degree in accounting , a Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred)
• 2 years of accounting manager experience in Logistics industry
• Strong knowledge of GAAP , EBIDTA
• Strong knowledge of regulations of Tax Law - State and Federal
• Supervising skills
• Strong knowledge of Quick Books and MS Office
• Ability to work independently and multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
