All shifts work mandatory overtime (OT) on weekends
Production and Manufacturing shift times :
Morning : 6am-2 : 30pm
Swing / Afternoon / Evening : 2pm-10 : 30pm

The Machine Operator is responsible for making sure the specifics of a job that needs cutting are understood and followed by reading the job jacket and looking over the printed work. The position is responsible for passing a high-quality product which meets quality standards to the next workstation. The Cutter may also be responsible to perform other duties as capable and assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Take printed stock and cut to the proper dimensions as called for on the production orderOperate cutting machines to make detailed custom cuts for various types of printed stockRead work order and verify all fabrication that needs to be accomplished before cutting has been completed prior to beginning the cutting processCut in accordance with priorities set by leadershipReport any issues or problems relating to signage to be cut to managementReport any issues or problems relating to machine operational abilities to management and / or maintenanceMaintain all safety and cleanliness standardsUse forklift as required per site expectationsAll other duties as requested, including supporting other departmentsEducation and Experience :
6+ months' experience with Cutting and Router machines, preferredQualifications, Skills, Abilities and Competencies :
Highly organized, with strong attention to detailManage large workloads, and maintain high quality and accuracy of workMeet deadlines and mitigate disruptions to workflowKnowledgeable in basic math, fractions, and percentageAbility to pass a basic skills testAbility to communicate (Read, speak, write, understand) in EnglishAble to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Valid driver's license or ability to obtain for purposes of forklift certification, as required per site expectationsAvailable for weekend work shifts & overtime as requiredSafety conscious with ability to perform job functions in a safe mannerAbility to work alone and under minimal supervisionAbility to think outside the box when creative solutions are neededWork well on a team and contribute positively to GSP culturePhysical demands :
