Our client's Finance Modern Technology Office is seeking a Business Systems Analyst who is, in practice, a full-stack software engineer with strong experience in automation, AI, and enterprise-grade system design.

In this role, you will document, improve, and automate business processes; design and build internal tools; integrate LLMs and AI-driven automation into day-to-day workflows; and explore emerging technologies to increase productivity across Finance and the broader company.

This is a highly hands-on, builder-oriented role. You will work directly with stakeholders to understand problems, architect solutions, and independently deliver high-quality systems end-to-end. The ideal candidate has a startup mindset, broad technical range, and deep proficiency in modern web development and automation.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate : $65 - $80 / hr. w2

Responsibilities :

• Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and automation opportunities
• Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack internal tools and applications (from backend systems to polished front-end interfaces)
• Build and optimize APIs, workflows, and integrations across internal and external systems
• Design, implement, and monitor LLM- or GenAI-driven automation (prompting, API integration, evaluation frameworks)
• Apply best practices in software engineering, including code quality, observability, automated testing, version control, and CI / CD
• Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and contribute to roadmap development
• Own systems from concept to deployment : including architecture, development, documentation, rollout, and post-launch support
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security standards appropriate for enterprise environments
• Collaborate with the broader Modern Technology Office to evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
