Trojan Recyclingis looking forasafetyconscienceYard Laborerto join our GROWING team inBrockton, MA. This position requires working at heights and necessitates strict adherence to safety protocols in all weather conditions.

Hours:Monday through Friday 6:45am to 4:30pm

Pay Rate:$22.00 per hour

• Checking trucks in and out of the landfill and directing traffic at site as necessary.
• Manual laborincluding paper picking, keeping landfill clean and presentable.
• Performyard workincluding cutting weeds.
• Climbing and tarping train cars.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.
• Operating light equipment such as:skid steers.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety andenvironmental practices.
• Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determinesafe and environmentally sound solutions toserviceissues.

What we need from you:

• One year of stable employment history in a similar environment.
• Ability to lift at least 75lbs and climb.
• Ability to work schedule in all weather conditions
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforcesafety procedures.
