Location : Ann Arbor MI 48109

Duration : 3 Months

Job Type : Temporary Assignment

Work Type : Onsite

Job Description :

  • Our client provides a single source for coordinated lab service support and supply management.
  • Our customized service offerings and world-class service experts have the flexibility and experience to uniquely address our customers laboratorys business needs.
  • The position is focused primarily on client support services within clients core offerings of order entry order management operating customer procurement systems stockroom services material handling shipping / receiving chemical tracking and glass-wash operations.

May perform some of the job duties below :

  • Perform laboratory services such as glassware collection / cleaning biological waste collection / sterilization.
  • Delivers direct shipment orders to end users / performs deliveries as required.
  • Promotes personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements without the presence of site trainer and management team.
  • Listens to customer concerns diffuses dissatisfaction and quickly identifies course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times.
  • Embraces Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.
  • Represents the clients at all times throughout customer locations professionally and positively.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

    • Requirements : Required Skills :

  • 1-2 years of equivalent experience required ( material handling experience Prior lab experience working around a lab)
  • Must be able to lift push and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 lbs.
  • Extensive walking may be required.
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Detail oriented problem solver promotes team environment
  • Demonstrated verbal written and presentation skills

    • Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Basic Computer understanding
  • Must be able to read write and speak English fluently.
  • Displays a high level of confidentiality for both customer and the client!
  • Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer and the interpersonal skills to take care of various levels of personnel at the customer site.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and customer focus to deliver excellent customer service including maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills to reconcile various reports to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed.
  • Must be able to use a computer and possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Works primarily at customer locations in office environment to include cubicles and / or in and around shipping / receiving docks stock rooms storage locations and laboratory environments.
  • May be required to work independently at customer location.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in laboratory setting or services preferred
  • Pallet Jack Experience
  • Computer / software skills (i.e. Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint- Basic Skills)

    • Degree / Certifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    • Top Skills :

  • Fitness aspect (walking 6-8 miles a day)
  • Lab environment experience
  • Glass washing background
