Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing customized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently based on credentialing
• Educating patients and their families on preventive measures, health maintenance, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within the guidelines of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care oversight
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and seamless patient care
• Keeping accurate and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Utah
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a specialty equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
