Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for :

• Assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Recording patient medical histories and vital signs.
• Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
• Administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Performing basic laboratory tests and collecting specimens.
• Providing patient education and instructions for follow-up care.
• Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
• Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
• Performing administrative tasks such as answering phones and handling patient inquiries.
• Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program- diploma or certification
• Previous experience in a primary care or clinical setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ventura, CA.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $24.00 / hr.
