Job Description :

This position is essential to the operational efficiency of the Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) service. The role is responsible for coordinating inventory overseeing equipment maintenance and repair within the ECC in collaboration with the equipment technician team and providing general support to clinical staff. As the Assistant Manager the individual will monitor equipment usage assist the ECC Director with procurement decisions conduct usage and cost-efficiency analyses and ensure that all clinical tools remain functional compliant and readily addition the role supports and helps implement projects assigned by the ECC Director by working directly alongside ECC area managers and supervisors. This includes helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and fostering a collaborative accountable team environment. The position also provides administrative support as needed to meet the evolving operational needs of the ECC service and the Blood Bank.

Expected Schedule : Monday Friday 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM. Hours and days may be adjusted based on the business needs of the UF Veterinary Hospitals. This position is considered essential personnel.

Expected Salary : $46000 - $75000

Preferred

• Supervisory / Leadership Experience
• Ability to operate a computer and utilize office suite software such as excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to think independently and demonstrate good problem-solving skills
• Experience working with budgets
• Knowledge of medical terminology anatomy and terminology.
• Knowledge of the equipment and materials used and their availability and applications
