[job_card.job_description]Acts as the primary physician extender Provide medical treatment under the supervision of the physician Conduct patient examinations and follow-ups, provide treatment plan Inpatient Rounding Will work with complex surgical patients both pre and post operatively Obtains and dictates history and physical, progress notes, and discharge summaries to document care given to patient Ensures all pertinent data in patient charts are counter-signed by the supervising physician Coordinates advanced diagnostic and therapeutic patient care procedures by assisting with the technical and medical aspects of simulation and treatment planning Other duties as assigned Primary and secondary service area greater than 100,000 Established referral system Small community hospital with plans to grow and build a new facility Recent OR renovations and equipment upgrades Clinic walking distance from hospital Competitive salary Excellent benefits Malpractice coverage CME package available Retirement package Licensing and membership fees Strategically located in northwest Georgia, approximately 1 hour from both Atlanta and Chattanooga, TN Family-oriented community Excellent educational opportunities Numerous annual cultural events and festivals A bounty of outdoor and recreational opportunities Safe / secure neighborhoods Southern hospitality
