Job Overview
Katalyst Group is recruiting for a Tax Advisor on behalf of a privately held family office with headquarters in Chicago. The role focuses on providing in‑depth federal tax advisory and research for internal stakeholders, specifically identifying tax avenues to explore during M&A transactions.
Responsibilities
- Advising internal stakeholders on federal tax avenues relevant to M&A transactions.
- Conducting comprehensive tax research and analysis to support strategic decision making.
- Preparing and presenting tax impact reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation : $120K – $140K per year, with pension and bonus potential. The range reflects total annual compensation and is based on skills and experience.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be on site two days a week at the Chicago office.
