Special Education Teacher (LBS1) - Illinois Schools

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking skilled and compassionate Special Education Teachers with an active LBS1 endorsement to serve students across Illinois. This full-time, school-based role focuses on providing individualized instruction and targeted interventions that address a wide range of learning needs. By designing and implementing IEPs aligned with state standards and student-specific goals, you will help drive meaningful academic achievement and personal growth.

In this position, you will apply evidence-based teaching strategies, track student progress through consistent assessment, and adjust instruction to meet each learner's needs. Collaboration is key-you will work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to foster an inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities include adapting middle school curriculum for students with mild to moderate disabilities, maintaining accurate documentation for compliance, contributing to IEP meetings, and promoting positive behavioral outcomes through proactive, reinforcement-based approaches. Ongoing participation in professional development and staff training will be encouraged to support continuous growth in your practice.

Requirements

• Experience working in an education setting.
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required. A master's degree is a plus.
• Illinois PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement (no other certification will be accepted at this time).
