Position Summary

As a paralegal, you will play a critical role in organizing cases, preparing legal documents, supporting your team in hearings and trial preparation, and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, disclosures, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Assist attorneys with case management, calendaring, deadlines, and trial preparation.
• Maintain and organize electronic case files and documents within the firm's case management systems.
• Communicate professionally with clients, providing updates and gathering information as needed.
• Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw.
• Assist with preparing exhibits, binders, witness lists, and trial notebooks.
• Manage discovery processes, including organizing, reviewing, and summarizing documents.
• Coordinate court filing, e-filing, and service processes.
• Support attorneys during hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with legal assistants and other administrative staff to ensure cases are moving forward efficiently.
• Perform other duties assigned to support smooth legal operations.
