Position Summary

The Philanthropic Fulfillment Specialist plays a vital role in advancing fundraising success by performing essential administrative processes that uphold donor intent and support the organization’s donor recognition and stewardship strategies. This service-driven position executes a wide range of responsibilities related to fund administration, donor acknowledgment, and stewardship initiatives, and manages diverse expectations to enhance strong, positive relationships with donors and internal team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Philanthropic Fulfillment

• Utilize the organization’s constituent database to accurately record, review, and administer fund intentions and availability for all annual, renewable, and endowed scholarships.
• Assist in routing all Memorandum of Agreements and gift commitments to donors, campus partners, and Foundation leadership for signatures.
• Ensure all agreements and documentation outlining donor intentions are properly filed and stored.
• In collaboration with team members, carry out proper fund management practices to protect donor intent, positive fund utilization, and meaningful stewardship and recognition of our donors.

Education and Previous Experience

Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Two or more years of professional experience in a related field (such as communications, administrative support, guest experience) is recommended.

Typical Physical Demands

Requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and some lifting. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office and / or clerical equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
