Job Summary :
We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Advanced Spaceborne Hardware-Software to pioneer the next generation of space computing platforms.
This job lies at the intersection of modern computing and modern software. We are moving beyond the legacy era of "flight software" written in bare-metal C; we are building the foundation for spaceborne data centers that run containerized workloads on orbit.
The ideal candidate is a hybrid engineer : someone with a background in modern full-stack software development, containerization, and deployment, who also possesses deep familiarity with radiation-hardened and tolerant electronics. You understand why running Kubernetes in LEO is difficult not just because of latency, but because of memory bit-flips and thermal constraints.
You will be joining the Advanced Technology Development team , a specialized unit within our Strategic Growth and Technology Organization. This team is responsible for defining and developing Voyager's future technologies, with a relentless focus on high-impact, high-ROI technology and product research and development. Our technology portfolio spans the totality of Voyager's capabilities and beyond-we are tasked with creating both leap-ahead capabilities in existing technology areas and strategically moving into and developing foundational technology in new, uncharted areas.
