Operations Manager
As an Operations Manager, you will own the overall site performance, ensuring technical, operational, and financial success. You will be responsible for disciplined cost control, labor efficiency, and sustained profitability while leading daily operations on the floor. This includes overseeing production, refurbishment, and aftermarket parts sales for coil tubing, cementing, and frac equipment.
Responsibilities include :
- Leading daily operations on the floor, actively supporting technicians and troubleshooting issues.
- Proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies to implement quick, practical solutions.
- Driving process discipline and efficiency using Lean principles, 5S, and continuous improvement methods.
- Championing a strong safety culture, ensuring full OSHA compliance and developing safety habits.
- Developing and mentoring employees, fostering accountability, teamwork, and pride in workmanship.
- Leading daily or weekly production meetings to align priorities and ensure cross-department coordination.
- Overseeing facility and equipment reliability, ensuring preventive maintenance and quick turnaround on repairs.
- Optimizing production planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to meet customer commitments.
- Investigating production issues hands-on and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborating across functions to ensure alignment on priorities and smooth job execution.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping.
- Continuously improving tools, methods, and workflow to strengthen performance and profitability.
- Performing other duties as required to stabilize operations and reinforce change.
Essential Skills include :
Proven success leading site operations, managing teams, and achieving operational and financial results.Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment manufacturing, repair, and maintenance.Hands-on problem-solving skills to identify operational bottlenecks and drive process improvements.Experience applying Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team alignment and conflict resolution.Deep understanding of safety regulations and ability to foster a safety-first culture.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting, analysis, and planning.Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and maintain credibility with front-line employees.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or operations management.5+ years of leadership experience in plant or operations management, preferably in oil and gas equipment manufacturing.Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Work Environment :
The role is based in an on-site, non-climate controlled manufacturing environment with a climate-controlled office. It requires 10% travel to other sites as needed.

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00 / yr. Bonus based on self / team production goals met. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
