Job Title : Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our clinical team. The AMFT will provide therapeutic services to clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, relationship challenges, and life transitions. This role involves working under supervision to gain the experience required for licensure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide individual, couple, and family therapy to clients under clinical supervision.
- Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Attend regular supervision sessions and participate in team meetings.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, case managers, and medical providers as needed.
- Uphold ethical standards as defined by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and professional organizations.
- Engage in continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications :
Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.Active California AMFT registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).Clinical experience in providing therapy (may include practicum / internship).Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with electronic health records (EHR).Bilingual or multilingual skills.Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and underserved communities.Supervision :
Weekly clinical supervision provided by a licensed LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist, in accordance with BBS requirements.Requirements : Qualifications :
