We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Manager of Accounting Operations & Reporting to help shape the future of our finance function. This role blends hands-on accounting leadership with systems expertise, offering the opportunity to modernize our financial infrastructure while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and meaningful insights for organizational decision-makers.

In this position, you will partner closely with both Finance and IT to guide the implementation and optimization of our ERP system. Your work will directly strengthen the reliability of our financial information and enhance how our team's access, interpret, and utilize data.

As the Manager, Accounting Operations & Reporting, you will take ownership of monthly reporting processes, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and serve as a key leader in our ERP transition. You will help establish efficient workflows, maintain high-quality financial data, and provide clear reporting that supports strategic planning.

Create, prepare comprehensive financial statements and detailed variance analyses.

Hands on month end close procedures and daily accounting operations

Develop internal reporting packages and executive-level summaries to support organizational planning.

Partner with senior leadership to refine annual and mid-year financial projections.

Contribute to the design and enhancement of department-level and company-wide budgets.

Work cross-functionally to ensure transactions and data flow accurately into the general ledger.

Assist with audit preparation and maintain documentation needed for compliance reviews.

Oversee ERP setup, data conversion, system testing, and end-user training.

Coordinate with implementation partners to align system configuration with business needs.

Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate tasks, and strengthen internal controls.

Maintain system documentation and provide ongoing support after deployment.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proficiency in Netsuite is required

8-10 years of experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, or audit.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with nonprofit or complex entity accounting preferred.

At least 3 years of practical experience with NetSuite or another major ERP, including full implementation involvement.

Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and macros.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.

Excellent communication abilities, especially in explaining financial concepts to non-finance colleagues.

Proven success managing competing priorities in a collaborative environment.

Bonus : Experience migrating from legacy accounting platforms.
