AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology Central Florida is seeking a full-time ABR fellowship trained Pediatric Radiologist to join its expanding subspecialized practice of 150 radiologists. AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology has 5 pediatric radiologists. Our facilities provide a total of approximately 2 million exams, and over 100,000 pediatric studies per year.

Position Overview / Highlights :

• Primarily pediatric radiology
• Mixture of remote and on site rotations; pediatric on-site rotations at single hospital in central Orlando

A dventHealth Medical Group Radiology  -  Central Florida is the exclusive imaging provider for 16 AdventHealth hospitals and 11 outpatient imaging centers throughout Central Florida. Epic is used throughout the system and all sites utilize one PACS. All imaging centers are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for imaging excellence. Hospital Description

Our Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is a full service, tertiary childrens hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds (including a dedicated pediatric CICU) a 17-bed pediatric emergency department, and a thriving 150 bed NICU (with a recent expansion in 2017).  There are several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs, and our newest program has brought pediatric liver transplant services to Central Florida. AdventHealth for Children began a comprehensive pediatric open heart surgery program in 2012, and we have a strong track record of positive outcomes.  We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, the regions only BMT unit, and a solid organ transplant program (including kidney and liver).

Our extensive network consists of 30 hospitals across the state with our centralized childrens hospital in Orlando; complex pediatric cases are referred to this site for management.  A statewide pediatric network and transport system allows for efficient transport between sites.
