Data Loss Prevention Analyst

A company is looking for a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst to protect sensitive data and support security teams in preventing data exfiltration incidents.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze DLP alerts, conduct real-time triage, and perform forensic investigations into data loss incidents

Configure and maintain DLP policies, tune detection rules, and recommend policy improvements based on alert data patterns

Serve as a technical advisor, conduct operational reviews with customers, and educate them on effective platform usage

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years focused on data loss prevention or data protection technologies

Hands-on experience with DLP tools and proven DLP administration skills

Strong understanding of data classification methodologies and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX)

Experience with incident response processes and forensic investigation techniques

Technical proficiency in analytical skills and familiarity with SIEM platforms and endpoint security
