Construction Project Engineer
Actalent is seeking to hire a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Engineer to support our project management team in overseeing construction activities, managing documentation, and ensuring efficient communication across departments. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in construction or electrical work who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about project execution and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track construction contract design changes and updates.
- Oversee project progress and job cost tracking to ensure alignment with budget and timelines.
- Coordinate design changes with internal construction teams and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation and management of change orders and maintain the project change order log.
- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules.
- Maintain and update submittals and Request for Information (RFI) logs.
- Prepare and submit project submittals and RFIs to clients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with job cost tracking and scheduling software (., MS Project).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules.Familiarity with Bluebeam Studio and Procore software preferred.Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus.College degree or completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship preferred, but not required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Top Skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06 / hr.
