[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential community in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address security-related concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and property management as needed. Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions while on duty. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR or first aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
