Description
JOB STATEMENT : The Wine Logistics Supervisor oversees and coordinates all aspects of domestic and international shipping, receiving, and bulk wine logistics. This role supervises logistics staff, manages scheduling of wine movements, and partners cross-functionally to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely operations. The position requires leadership, organization, and a strong understanding of winemaking procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Supervise and direct logistics staff in day-to-day shipping, receiving, and scheduling tasks
- Meet regularly with the Director of Winemaking to review operational priorities
- Oversee bulk wine schedules for bottling facilities, customers, and export
- Assign blend and filter tanks, ensuring readiness for bottling and shipment
- Schedule and manage bulk wine truck movements for Bronco
- Ensure accuracy of process orders and approve completed documentation
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company safety standards and procedures
- Oversee preparation and shipment of domestic and international wine samples
- Collaborate with production, compliance, and other departments to resolve logistical challenges
- Develop staff schedules, conduct performance feedback, and support training initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and reporting for shipping, receiving, and bulk wine logistics
- Perform other supervisory duties and projects as assigned

Education / Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of relevant experienceComputer skills including Microsoft Word and ExcelKnowledge of :
Shipping / receiving logistics, including domestic and export complianceSafety rules, compliance standards, and company policiesLeadership and supervisory practicesWinery operations such as harvest, fermentation, and cellar processesAbility to :
Lead, motivate, and develop staffOrganize, prioritize, and manage multiple logistics schedulesCommunicate effectively across departments and with external partnersIdentify process improvements and implement solutionsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
