Candidates for the COO position at the company should be accomplished healthcare executives with a master's degree in a relevant field and at least twelve years of experience in healthcare administration, including a minimum of ten years in senior management roles. The role requires deep operational expertise, financial acumen, and a proven track record in overseeing operations within a large, complex healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical operations, financial management, and the integration of faculty practice into the mission of education, research, and patient care. The COO will be expected to lead with vision and inclusivity, and to cultivate strong relationships with department chairs, clinical leaders, and practicing physicians to ensure alignment with institutional goals.
