Psychiatrist - Consult & Liaison

Description

PeaceHealth is seeking a Psychiatrist for a Hospital Consult Liaison position based in the Eugene / Springfield, OR community.

The addition of a psychiatrist dedicated to the Consult Service at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend will ensure that patient care needs will be addressed within 24 hours of a consult request. This will also allow for better coverage for difficult discharge cases.

Position Highlights :

• Work schedule : 7 on / 7 off
• Consult Liaison Psychiatry at RiverBend Medical Center as primary work site
• Variety and interesting / challenging group of patients
• Opportunity to join a large, well respected and established Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry group while employed by PeaceHealth
• Some administrative responsibility
• Opportunities to mentor / teach rotating medical students through Oregon Health and Science University
• ECT Services available
• Research opportunities available if interested
