This Associate position presents a valuable opportunity to obtain licensure, gain knowledge in property and casualty insurance, enhance your skills, and further your career within the insurance industry. As an Associate, you will engage in study and preparation for the state insurance licensing examination. Upon obtaining your license, you will assist in generating Property & Casualty sales by supporting ongoing prospecting and lead generation efforts. You will learn to leverage branch networking and partnerships across VyStar Insurance Agency's diverse range of product offerings while ensuring insurance offerings comply with the requirements set by carriers, sales centers, and regulatory authorities. This position provides an opportunity to enhance your skills in driving sales transactions to contribute to the profitability of the VyStar Insurance Agency (VIA).

The Risk team serves as the second line of defense by providing risk oversight and credible challenge whereas the Audit team serves as the third line of defense by providing risk assurance.

Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required; pursuing a college degree is preferred.
Computer Skills
Basic proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and other related computer applications. Familiarity with Agency Management systems is a plus.
Certifications
Currently pursuing or holds an active State Property & Casualty license (2044 Personal Lines License preferred).
