Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

We are building the Decision-Making Engine of the 21st Century to ensure the US maintains overwhelming military advantages. This is a chance to join a team of warfighters and high-velocity builders dedicated to transforming national security at the speed of conflict.

We seek engineers who are driven by impact, autonomy, and the mission to deliver asymmetric advantage.

The Role : Defining Capability

As a Founding Forward Deployed Mission Engineer, you don't just write code; you define capability. You are embedded with end-users, designing, building, and deploying full-stack, mission-critical solutions in the field.

Your Mandate

  • Solve in the Field : Work directly with operators to diagnose pain points and ship rapid solutions.
  • Build & Abstract : Evolve successful field demos into reusable, core platform components.
  • Own the Outcome : Scope ambiguous problems and deliver end-to-end, high-value product demos.

We Seek : High-Velocity Builders

  • Engineering Proficiency : Strong foundational skills in Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or Typescript.
  • Systems Design : Experience developing complex, scalable, customer-facing systems.
  • Full Stack Experience : Experience with React-based frameworks (Next.js, Vite).
  • Secure Deployment : Familiarity with DevSecOps and the Authority to Operate (ATO) process.
  • Bias to Action : Reduce uncertainty through decisive, rapid execution and radical ownership.
  • Practical experience with reinforcement learning (RL) or ML model development.

    • Location & Clearance

  • Location : DMV - Washington DC Metro Area - Hybrid / Remote / Moderate Travel.
  • Security : US Citizen with ability to obtain a clearance. Active Secret or TS / SCI preferred.
