Job Title Student Affairs Office Manager Position Summary
The Student Affairs Office Manager is a 12-month full-time professional staff member responsible for the operational and administrative support of the Division of Student Affairs at Texas Wesleyan University. This position manages the front-facing customer service experience in the Student Affairs suite and at the Martin Center front desk, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for students, visitors, and staff. The Office Manager coordinates purchasing and requisitions, facilitates scheduling and reservations within university systems, and provides administrative support to divisional leadership. This role is pivotal in maintaining daily office functionality, promoting positive student interactions, and supporting divisional priorities.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, correspondence and memorandums. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or University employees.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to accurately calculate and compute occupancy rates and forecasts.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to develop and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
