Job Summary :
The Supervisor will oversee the operations of Rising Ground’s Community-Based Services for Survivors of Trauma, Crime, and Violence, Community Healing and Resiliency, ensuring that staff provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive services to a diverse population. This position is crucial in upholding the organization’s anti-oppressive and restorative justice framework, advocating for survivors’ rights, and ensuring that clients receive the comprehensive support they need. The Supervisor will lead a team of therapists, case managers, and other staff members in delivering high-quality, holistic care, while also managing administrative tasks, staff development, and community engagement
This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for social justice and equity. The Supervisor will maintain a flexible approach to meet the dynamic needs of the program and community, ensuring the team upholds Rising Ground’s values of inclusivity, cultural humility, and restorative justice.

Work Environment :
Hybrid (In-office and remote), with flexibility to meet clients at various community locations or virtually. This position will be based out of our Brooklyn locations (Jay Metro Tech and East Flatbush), with the opportunity to work from our Harlem office and opportunity for a remote / hybrid schedule.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : 35 hours a week, Monday through Friday 9am-5pm
Travel (if required) : Travel within NYC to attend community meetings, client visits, and outreach events.
