We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Coordinator to join our dynamic team at a leading autobody shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service to ensure seamless operations within our parts department.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and distribution of automotive parts and supplies to support shop operations efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, routinely checking stock levels and placing orders as needed to prevent disruptions in workflow.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians and service advisors to understand parts requirements and provide timely support to repair jobs.
  • Handle discrepancy resolutions, including incorrect parts or billing issues, to ensure swift problem solving and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Implement inventory control and management systems to optimize parts availability and reduce holding costs.
  • Monitor market trends and advancements in automotive parts to ensure the shop is stocked with high-demand items.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all staff members.
  • Qualifications :
  • Previous experience in automotive parts coordination or inventory management is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and external partners.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • A valid driver's license may be required, depending on the location and transportation duties.
