We are partnering with a respected outpatient clinic in the Mat Su that values clear communication, steady growth, and a supportive culture. You will work alongside providers who appreciate initiative and consistent patient care. WHAT YOU’LL DO :
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms, stock supplies, and keep spaces ready
- Welcome and room patients, collect histories, and record vital signs
- Perform and support twelve lead EKGs and treadmill stress tests
- Administer medications per provider orders and document accurately in the EHR
- Monitor status, report changes to the physician, and keep patient flow on time
- Coordinate scheduling for studies and procedures and prioritize urgent needs
- Educate patients and families on medications, rhythms, devices, and follow up care
- Triage calls, give clear instructions, and route messages appropriately
- Maintain charts, compile simple reports, and participate in staff meetings and in service training
- Protect patient confidentiality and pitch in where needed REQUIREMENTS :
- Active RN license in Alaska or eligibility to obtain
- Recent clinic or hospital experience in cardiology or procedural care preferred
- Strong rhythm recognition and basic pharmacology knowledge including interactions and side effects
- Skill with vital signs, EKGs, treadmill testing, and sample collection
- Proficiency with EHR systems and accurate documentation
- Able to lift up to fifty pounds, stand and walk for long periods, and follow infection control standards
- Calm and effective in emergencies, organized when priorities shift, and clear in communication
