Are you a seasoned tax professional with 3 or more years of experience, skilled in individual tax returns and familiar with professional tax software like Ultra Tax, Pro Fx, or Lacerte? Join the team at Financial Foundations for this seasonal, flexible position built around your schedule — while helping our clients prepare accurate, timely tax returns.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare individual federal and state tax returns accurately for clients of Financial Foundations.

Collect and analyze client financial records and documentation.

Enter data into UltraTax (or comparable tax software) and review for accuracy.

Identify deductions, credits, and ensure compliance with tax laws for clients.

Meet deadlines, manage multiple returns, and maintain confidentiality of client information.

Qualifications & Experience

3 years or more of tax preparation experience (individual returns preferred).

Proficiency with tax preparation software — UltraTax experience strongly preferred but not required

Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and deadlines.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Must be eligible for W-2 employment (not purely contract / freelance).

Preference given to candidates who can commit for the full tax season.
