The Morrisville Rural Fire Company was founded in 1955, first serving out of a tin shed the largely rural farms of Western Wake County. The mission : Service before Self. Today, little has changed. This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive training program for fire suppression and emergency medical services. With a focus on readiness, compliance, and continuous improvement, the position ensures that personnel are well-prepared through structured training, performance drills, and certification tracking. The role combines administrative oversight with hands-on instruction, fostering a culture of safety, skill, and service excellence.
