Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP has an immediate opening for a Compensation Assistant to join its Winston-Salem, NC office. The Compensation Assistant ensures smooth execution of pay programs, supports HR operations, and helps maintain fairness and compliance in employee compensation.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with developing job descriptions and determining the appropriate FLSA status.
- Maintain and update employee records related to compensation.
- Assist with conducting salary surveys and updating systems with survey data.
- Assist with compensation projects.
- Manage and maintain the compensation email box.
- Provide support in compensation-related issues such as pay inquiries, job evaluations, and salary adjustments.
- Perform other administrative related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a compensation assistant or similar role.Knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis processes.Experience with employment agreements and general HR knowledge.Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases.Strong attention to detail and oral and written communication skills.High School Diploma with 5 – 8 years in HR, payroll, or administrative support.Equal Opportunity Employer / Protected Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities
