Position Type : Direct Hire

Position Location : Henrico, VA

Position Salary : $90,000 - $100,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus

Responsibilities :

• Establish and maintain an effective system of communication within the organization, developing effective working relationships with the safety committee, department managers, plant manager, and employees.
• Help create a culture that identifies, eliminates, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and / or property damage using safety standards, best management practices, and analytical techniques long with Behavior based safety programs
• Direct and organize EHS-related projects for the site to include :

Oversee for Environmental Health, Safety and sustainability reporting and compliance.

Develop, maintain, and disseminate a variety of safety information and training topics.

Ensure OSHA, EPA, and other EH&S compliance.

Manage risk prevention activities include accidents, emergencies, or other unsafe conditions.
