As a Clinical Director your responsibilities will be managing the overall leadership and operation of our outpatient clinic in Davenport. With the support of experienced administration you will be providing outstanding one-on-one patient care as well as supervising both clinical and office staff and ensuring all APTA standards policies and procedures are followed.
- Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
- Review the physicians referral (prescription) and the patients condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
- Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
- Document findings progress and instructions to patients and caregivers
- Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Complete a written plan of care develop goals based on evaluation findings and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
- Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients / caregivers and professional colleagues including physicians and insurance companies
Qualifications :
Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.Current state of Iowa license and CPR certificationAbility to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans or willingness to learnAbility to work efficiently / effectively in an autonomous environmentBasic PC skills and knowledge including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system database software and MS OfficeAdditional Information :
