[job_card.job_description]Clinical Support : Assist physicians during exams and procedures, take patient histories, record vital signs, and prepare patients for medical evaluations. Medical Procedures : Administer medications and injections, perform basic lab tests, and prepare specimens for analysis as directed. Patient Care & Education : Provide education on health maintenance and disease prevention in both English and Spanish. Maintain a clean, organized care environment. Administrative Tasks : Manage appointment scheduling, maintain accurate patient records, and support billing, coding, and other administrative duties as needed. Certification : Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred, but not required. Bilingual (English / Spanish) is required - candidates must be able to communicate fluently with Spanish-speaking patients Current CPR and First Aid certification. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Submit to a drug screen & criminal background check. Experience : 1-2 years of relevant, hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant. (Candidates with a consistent work history in healthcare with no significant gaps in employment are preferred .)
